Chemical Peel treatments have been used for many years to treat facial wrinkles, age spots, pigment abnormalities, mask of pregnancy, sun damaged skin, pre-cancerous lesions, acne / acne scarring, freckles, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and the appearance of superficial scars.

Facial peels are designed to accelerate the removal of old dead cells at the surface of the skin, usually these are the layers that are damaged by the sun, wind and neglect and reveal the softer, smoother skin underneath. This is a result of the peel causing the skin to dry up and peel away over several days, exposing a fresh, vibrant undamaged skin.

Unlike more aggressive resurfacing techniques, peel treatments are very gentle.

Types of Chemical Peels available:

Superficial Peels – Removal of the outer layer of the skin or the "epidermal layers".
Medium Depth Peels – Removal of both the epidermal layers and upper dermal
layers.
Deep Peels – Peeling of the lower dermal layer of the skin.
